Our bear hunts are based out of the main camp, while spike camps are used for hunting at higher elevations. Hunts comprise 5,7, 10 and 15 day trips for up to two bears. GRIZZLY BEAR Hunting
The opportunities and kill rates have been very high on our Mountain Grizzlies. The density of these Mountain Grizzlies in Toby Creek is very high with good quality 7' to 9' true silver tipped bears.

BLACK BEAR hunting
Our black bears are hunted in both the Spring and in conjunction with our main species hunts in the Fall. Because of the high density of bears in the Toby Creek, Hunt Schedules Packages are based on a a 7 day hunt for 2 Bears and a 5 day hunt for 1 Bear. Our season runs from early Spring for Bear. Grizzly Bear Hunts includes one Black Bear
Our area boasts a substantail Grizzly population. Since these are "interior" Grizzlies,
thier hides are silvertip with a variation of colours.
The bears can reach over nine feet square in size. Mid- May is the start of Bear season at Toby Creek.
We utilize spot and stalk techniques, hunting on slide areas in the spring when their hides are exceptional. We are limited in our permit allocations, so a hunter who is serious about having this hunt opportunity should book early. 
you have a good opportunity of harvesting a real trophy. This is a fair chase hunt using spot & stalk technique, giving us bears anywhere between 5'6" to 6' in size! 
We
also have 15 - 20% color phased bears and we start hunting them in May
through to the middle of June
